This review is in the viewpoint of someone who uses a Surface 3 daily, and does a lot of art on it too.It's as far as I can see, the official pen for the Surface 4 and Surface Book line of products. This is a very nice active stylus and offers great battery life and really, is very solidly built with good weight.This works on the Surface 3 despite it being made for the more recent models, it ditches the left click on the old stylus for just a right click, the eraser button has more functions and they can be customised rather than just opening OneNote and it also functions as an eraser in art programs.The nib of the pen can be swapped for different ones which come with which offer different resistances, for art high resistance seems to be popular and low for handwriting, plus when it wears out you have spares.It's very satisfying to use, offeres a nice experience drawing or writing on my Surface Pro 3, and even functions better than the original pen for the 3 by having less of the shaky diagonal lines.
